The Board of Directors is compromised of twenty-four veterans who hold the responsibility of individual activities within the Post. All the Directors are veterans of all branches of the military. The active participation of the Board has brought various events and activities to the San Francisco Chinatown community. Such events have been the San Francisco Chinatown Policeman and woman of the Year, Rededication of Bronze plaque honoring fallen Chinese American Soldiers, fundraising dinners for the future Chinese American Veteran Memorial Museum, community organization dinners, and prominent Asian American speakers. Community service is also one of the many goals and activities of the Post. The Board's leadership, activism and cooperation have enhanced the Chinese culture, unity, and recognition into the mainstream American society as equal partners.
